We're a small, dedicated team of animal lovers who genuinely care about every patient — and their family. Our size is our strength.
For over 20 years, Mulgrave Veterinary Clinic has been a trusted part of the Wheelers Hill community. Our small, dedicated team means you'll see familiar faces at every visit — we remember your pet's name, their history, and what makes them unique. We're not just a clinic; we're your pet's long-term healthcare partners.

Dr Mya is a passionate veterinarian who joined the Australian veterinary community after completing her Veterinary Medicine degree in Sri Lanka in 2012. Combining clinical expertise with deep academic knowledge, she went on to earn her PhD in Pharmacology from Western Sydney University. While she is highly skilled in surgery and dentistry, Mya's favourite part of the day is the simple joy of interacting with pets and their owners — a warmth that is immediately felt by everyone who visits the clinic. Outside of work, she is a creative spirit who loves spending her free time on art projects with her son.
A dedicated advocate for the wellbeing of dogs and cats alike
Jackie is one of our most experienced nurses and the first friendly face you'll see when you walk through our doors. With over a decade of veterinary nursing experience, she has a remarkable ability to calm anxious animals and make every visit as stress-free as possible. Jackie has a special fondness for rescue animals and is a passionate advocate for adoption.
Three rescue dogs and a rabbit named Clover
Thanradee brings warmth, precision, and genuine compassion to every patient interaction. She is particularly skilled in post-operative care and monitoring, ensuring every patient recovers safely and comfortably after surgery. She speaks English and Thai, making our clinic accessible to Melbourne's diverse Thai-speaking community.
Two cats — Mango and Lychee
We chose this profession because we love animals. Every patient receives the same level of attention and compassion we'd give our own pets.
Veterinary medicine evolves constantly. Our team regularly attends professional development to bring the latest knowledge and techniques to your pet's care.
We're an independent, family-owned clinic — not a corporate chain. We know our clients by name and are deeply invested in the wellbeing of our local community.
We're always interested in hearing from experienced veterinarians and nurses who share our values. If you'd love to work in a supportive, community-focused independent clinic, we'd love to hear from you.
